近年來不論是人種或是各類性取向族群的平等權益議題越來越受社會重視，社會大體而言也朝著越來越包容與平等的方向邁進。運動界也不落人後，Nike將在2017年6月的一開始推出一系列”Be True”的商品，慶祝LGBTQ(Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer)社群近年努力爭取到的成果。

這一系列以彩虹為主題的商品包括 Flyknit Racer, VaporMax, Cortez, 與 Air Zoom Pegasus 跑鞋；另外也有一雙彩虹襪及上寫有”Be True” 或”Equality”的T-shirt。

Nike 選擇在6月1日推出還有一個特別的意義：6月是所謂LGBT驕傲月(LGBT Pride Month)，這次推出這些商品也相當應景!
